Three taps. One photo. A published review.

A review email asks the customer to leave their inbox, open a page, log in and fill a form. On WhatsApp the whole thing happens inside a thread they already trust, in under a minute.

  • Star rating from quick-reply buttons
  • Review typed as a normal message
  • Photo attached from the camera roll
  • Discount code delivered in the same chat

Built for reviews, not just reminders

Everything a review flow needs, already wired up in a ready-made template.

Asked where customers already answer

The request arrives in the same WhatsApp thread as the order confirmation and shipping updates, so it reads like a conversation, not a campaign.

Rate with one tap

Quick-reply buttons for 5 stars, 4 stars and 3 or less. The customer never types a number or opens a page.

Photo reviews by default

Customers send a picture the way they send one to a friend. Photo reviews convert better on product pages and feed your ads.

Unhappy customers reach you first

A low rating skips the public review, apologises, and assigns a ticket to your team. Problems get solved before they get posted.

Reward the review instantly

Spur creates a unique Shopify discount code and sends it right after the review, nudging the next order.

Timed to the delivery

Starts when the carrier marks the order delivered, after a delay you set per product type. Never before the parcel arrives.

How the flow works

Pick the "Review collection via WhatsApp" template, set the delay, switch it on.

1

Order delivered

Shopify or your shipping partner marks the order delivered. The flow waits one day, or the delay you choose.

2

Ask for a rating

A WhatsApp message with three quick-reply buttons: 5 stars, 4 stars, 3 stars or less.

3

Branch on the answer

4 or 5 stars: ask for a photo and a one-line review. 3 or less: apologise, ask what went wrong, and open a support ticket.

4

Publish and reward

The review goes to Judge.me in real time, or into your Spur table for export. The customer gets a discount code in the chat.

Reviews go where you display them

Keep the review app you already use. Spur handles the asking.

Frequently asked questions

Which review apps does Spur work with?

Judge.me has a native integration: reviews are pushed through its API in real time. For Loox, Yotpo, Stamped and others, export the review table from Spur as a CSV and import it.

Do customers need to opt in?

Yes. WhatsApp requires opt-in, and Spur only messages customers who have agreed to receive updates from your store. The review request is sent as a Meta-approved template.

What does a review request cost?

One template message per request, billed by Meta at the utility or marketing rate for the customer’s country. There is no extra Spur charge per review.

When is the request sent?

When the order is marked delivered, after a delay you choose. One day is the default. For furniture or electronics, five to seven days gives customers time to use the product.

Can I change the questions and the languages?

Every message, button, delay and branch is editable in the Workflow Builder. Send the request in the customer’s language and add a review title or a consent question for using photos.

What happens with a 3-star-or-less rating?

The flow apologises, asks what went wrong, and assigns the conversation to your support team. Nothing is published unless you decide to.

Which plan do I need?

The review collection flow is available on Spur’s AI Start plan and above.
