Spur introduces easy management of WhatsApp contacts directly from the shared inbox. You can now effortlessly block/unblock contacts or delete them entirely without leaving the conversation screen.

New triggers have been added for Shopify Pixel events, including product views, cart additions, abandoned carts, and more. These triggers allow for more targeted automations and better customer journey tracking.

Spur automations can now use variables from Nitro to enable advanced interactions, better order management, and highly targeted communications. Learn more here.
This new automation trigger activates whenever a new contact is added to your Spur database, allowing for instant engagement such as welcome messages or initial onboarding sequences.
Instagram flows now support a dedicated trigger for audio messages. Basically, automations can activate when someone sends an audio message.
Authentication templates can now be created and sent directly from Spur. While content rules follow Meta guidelines, you can customize button text (up to 25 characters) and add a footer indicating code expiry.

Spur's New Update is accompanied with an all new dashboard, as well as changes to the UI throughout.
The new setup and learn panel on the Dashboard allow you to make sure you're taking full advantage of your Spur subscription and are keeping up with all the latest features.
That is followed by insightful data about your channels, conversations and conversions.
We've also moved the profile icon and it's adjacent buttons to the top-right, making sure they are out of the way but still reachable when working with Spur.

New advanced conditions are added, significantly improving flow customization, especially when collecting user inputs or managing complex scenarios.
Spur now offers an upgraded Tags Section within your database, making contact management faster, simpler, and more organized.

Debugging webhooks and mapping incoming contact data is now simpler and more intuitive. Spur allows you to easily view webhook payloads, select JSON paths with just a click, and automatically map data to your contacts—no technical hassle involved.

You can now dynamically generate and send media images through external links, similar to cart summary images, directly within Spur’s workflow builder.

A new exit condition is introduced: “Has been in another flow within X days.” This prevents repetitive interactions by automatically exiting contacts from ongoing flows if they recently participated in a similar one.
- Validation on Delay Blocks: Only numeric values are accepted, preventing errors.
- Improved Automation Analytics Load Speeds: Significant speed improvements, particularly for large accounts.
- Template Validation in Automations: Prevents saving automations without valid associated templates. Real-time template status updates are also available within the automation builder.
- Real-time Synchronization: Chat lists now sync instantly across multiple windows and agents.
- Sending Automations Filtered by Channel: Only automations of that particular channel will be visible when triggering them manually from the Shared Inbox.
- Closing Chats Opens Next Conversation: Enhanced efficiency navigating inbox workflows.
- Automation Status Logged in Shared Inbox improving ability to debug.
- Closing tickets now automatically enables turns on automations for that contact.
- Added support for one-click checkouts: Fastrr, GoKwik and ecom360.
- Shopify Store Disconnection: Shopify Stores can now be disconnected.
- Updated Error Screens with Improved Clarity: Common errors now display detailed, user-friendly explanations, enabling easier troubleshooting and reducing confusion.
- Flow Renaming Interaction Improved: More intuitive automation name editing.
- Custom Fields Reorderable: Easily prioritize custom fields by moving important ones to the top. The order is also replicated on Shared Inbox.
- Loading Indicators in Chats: Clear visual feedback during message and content loading.
- Faster Media Uploads: Simultaneously upload multiple media files, enhancing efficiency.
- Chat UX Enhancements: Improved performance with loading indicators in Shared Inbox.
- Updated Error Views: Clearer and more informative messages for common errors.
- Test Broadcast Validations: Enhanced broadcast testing for error prevention in broadcasts.
- Auto-sync for WhatsApp Quality: Real-time monitoring and notifications if an account is flagged.
- Per-user Limits Not Displayed as Errors: Reduced confusion by handling these cases differently in the Automation analytics.
- Enhanced Segments: Create advanced customer segments with custom fields and additional filters.
- Customers Can View Their Rate Cards within Spur: Transparent, on-demand pricing details.
- New Workspace Creation: Quickly set up new workspaces from your admin portal.
- Spur is Now Multilingual: Operate Spur in multiple languages to support global operations.
The automation toggle specifically for Instagram has been removed for simplicity. Now, simply disable specific automations when not needed.
Linked Products can also be enabled/disabled with its dedicated switch.
Read receipts on WhatsApp have been disabled platform-wide, ensuring privacy for support agents and removing any unintended pressure of showing messages as “read.”
