Match the legal name exactly
The name in Business Manager must match your registration document character for character. "Acme Ltd" and "Acme Limited" count as different.

Use a document Meta accepts
Certificate of incorporation, business licence, tax document or a utility bill in the business name. A screenshot of an invoice is not enough.

Add a website and business email
The domain should match the email. A free mailbox on a generic domain is the most common reason a review stalls.

Check the phone number is reachable
Meta may call or text the number on file. If nobody answers it, the review can fail without an obvious reason.

- Do I actually need to verify?
- If you only run a Facebook Page, no. If you want to send WhatsApp messages at any real volume, yes. - How long does verification take?
- Usually a few working days once the documents are submitted. It can run longer if Meta asks for a second document or cannot reach the phone number on file. The status stays visible in Security Centre while it is in review.
- What documents does Meta accept?
- A certificate of incorporation, a business licence, a tax registration document, a bank statement or a utility bill in the business name. Whatever you send has to show the legal name and address exactly as they appear in Business Manager.
- What if verification is rejected?
- You can resubmit. Read the reason Meta gives first, because most rejections come down to a name that does not match the document or an address that has moved. Fix the mismatch in Business Manager before uploading again rather than sending the same file twice.
- How do I get help with verification?
